The einvestitii.ro community exists so that we can talk about investing sensibly: ideas, arguments, questions, experiences. The rules below form part of the Terms and apply to everything you publish: posts, comments, polls, predictions, images, your name and your profile.
1. In short
- Write what you think, but say what is fact and what is opinion.
- Say whether you have an interest in what you recommend: whether you hold the stock or the coin, or whether you are being paid.
- No “pump and dump”, no signal groups, no promises of profit.
- Respect people, even when you disagree with them.
- Do not publish what is not yours, or other people's data.
2. Investment content
2.1. Opinion, not advice
What you write is your opinion, not personal advice for anyone. Do not give instructions such as “buy as much as you can right now” and do not pressure others into making decisions.
2.2. Facts separate from opinions
When you recommend or suggest, even indirectly, buying, selling or holding a financial instrument, the law treats you as the author of an “investment recommendation” (Regulation (EU) No 596/2014, the Market Abuse Regulation, MAR). So:
- you clearly separate facts from opinions and from estimates;
- you say where your information comes from, especially figures;
- you do not present a scenario or a price target as a certainty.
2.3. Disclose your interests
- If you hold the instrument you are writing about, tick “I own shares” or say so in the text.
- If you are paid, or receive gifts, commissions or any other benefit to talk about something, write “Advertisement” or “Paid partnership” visibly at the start, with the name of whoever is paying you.
- If you work for the company or platform you are writing about, say so.
2.4. Inside information
Do not publish information that is not public and that could move the price of an instrument (for example, results, mergers or decisions learned from inside a company). Using and disclosing such information is prohibited by law.
3. Market manipulation: prohibited
This applies to stocks and ETFs (Regulation (EU) No 596/2014, the Market Abuse Regulation, MAR, Articles 12 and 15) and to crypto-assets (Regulation (EU) 2023/1114, the Markets in Crypto-Assets Regulation, MiCA, Article 91). It is prohibited:
- to spread false or misleading information, rumours or made-up “news” about an instrument or an issuer;
- to talk up an asset to push its price higher and then sell it (“pump and dump”), or the reverse;
- to voice an opinion about an instrument after taking a position in it, without saying so, in order to profit from the price movement;
- to coordinate with others buying or selling campaigns, or mass posting about the same asset;
- to use multiple accounts or bought accounts to look like more people;
- to promise sure or “guaranteed” profits.
In addition to the measures on the site, we may report matters to the authorities (ASF, the Romanian Financial Supervisory Authority, the police, the public prosecutor's office) and provide them with the data required by law.
4. Promotion and spam
- No links to paid groups or “signal” groups (Telegram, WhatsApp, Discord and others).
- No invitation codes, affiliate links or referral links for other platforms in posts and comments.
- No requests for money, card details, wallet keys or passwords, in any form.
- No offers of “account management”, “trading for you” or “recovering lost money”: they are almost always scams.
- No repeating the same message and no tagging companies unrelated to the text.
- Promoting your own services (a blog, a channel) is allowed only occasionally and only when directly related to the discussion.
5. Respect
- No insults, harassment, threats or incitement to violence.
- No hate speech or discrimination on grounds of race, ethnicity, religion, sex, sexual orientation, disability or any other ground protected by law.
- No sexually explicit content and, under no circumstances, content involving minors.
- Criticise ideas, not people.
6. Other people's data and rights
- Do not publish other people's personal data (address, phone number, workplace, documents, screenshots of private conversations) without their consent.
- Do not publish other people's texts, images or analyses without the right to do so. Short quotes, with the source, are fine.
- Do not pretend to be someone else: a person, a company's management, a broker, an authority or our team.
7. Content made with artificial intelligence
You may use artificial intelligence tools, but you are responsible for what you publish. A realistic image or audio-visual material generated or altered with AI must be labelled as such.
8. Polls, predictions and leaderboard
You vote with a single account, honestly. Vote-trading agreements, multiple accounts and any attempt to inflate your points or your leaderboard position are prohibited. The details are in the Points, Predictions and Leaderboard Rules.
9. What happens if you break the rules
We choose the measure according to how serious the breach is, the intent behind it and what has happened before:
- The content is hidden or removed and you are told why. If it is removed, 25 points are also deducted.
- A warning, for a minor or first breach.
- A temporary restriction: you cannot post or comment for 24 hours, 7 days or 30 days. We tell you the duration in the statement of reasons.
- Permanent closure of the account.
For scams, market manipulation, threats, content involving minors or fake accounts, we may close the account on the first offence.
You can appeal any decision, as explained in Moderation and the Digital Services Act (DSA).
10. How to report
Every post, comment and profile has a “Report” button. For illegal content you can also use the reporting form, with or without an account. Reports are confidential: the author does not find out who reported them, except where the law requires us to disclose it (for example, for copyright notices or at the request of a court).
